Toe To Toe’s releases have become sporadic since their stranglehold on Aussie punk and hardcore throughout the 90’s into this decade. The band has become less of a priority for it’s members and more an escape which as history has shown with ‘Old Scores New Glories’ that whilst the band had moved to smaller label and less frequent touring, they had in no way lost their fire. Their side of the 7” delivers three new tracks recorded late last year with unmistakable Scott Mac vocals and the band sounding better than ever.
Tenth Dan hail from Geelong that up until recently was more known for Ford motor cars and rock influenced punk than it was for delivering solid hardcore bands. There have always been things happening down there, just not many bands getting out. The Red Shore have been turning heads and now Tenth Dan are here to leave their mark. They released an old recording last year after an extended break which was solid but not representative of the band is at today. The second track features Matt Maunder of Mindsnare on vocals.
