Dead Kings were formed late in the Summer of 2007 in the nations capital spawning from reputable parents, violent sweethearts 4 Dead and metal titans Infinitum.
Fresh and full of inspiration the budding young band managed to release a well received demo and tour the better half of Australia holding their own performing with heavy weights like Parkway Drive, The Ghost Inside, The Red Shore, Verse , Carpathian, Comeback Kid and even playing their first show opening for Bring Me The Horizon and I Killed The Prom Queen.
Now sitting on the brink of maturity Dead Kings are about to unleash their debut self titled album through esteemed Melbourne record label Trial and Error Records, the label that discovered pioneer Australian hardcore bands such as Day of Contempt, Shotpointblank and Mindsnare.
The full length promises ample weights of crushing heaviness and complex melody and as Cameron Chambers of Killyourstereo.com says “A lot of acts talk up their blend of melody and aggression but these guys have done a cracking job at incorporating both elements without sounding watered down or generic”.
Dead Kings are a musical dam about to break and flood Australia with their own complex structure of technical progressive metalcore with the potential to rival some of Australia's best bands in the genre.
